Sitting in a hotel room just last week, I was amazed to hear that the
company behind the latest microchip experiments, Veritech, has now been
given public approval by the US government to move ahead with its plans.
As we have said before, anything that is announced publicly has been
privately endorsed for months, if not years, by the government of that
country. And here it was again.
The CEO of Veritech said that all his employees had "volunteered" to have
the chips put in place over the next few months. When asked by the
interviewer if he himself had had an implant, he replied, "Well, we have
been doing extensive tests and are very near to achieving our goals."
Pushed again, and again, he ultimately admitted that he himself was not
going to be a guinea pig. No surprise there.
And it did not stop there.
He announced that the plan was to introduce microchip implanting across
the board, for all US citizens, and ultimately to populations worldwide.
Those of you who have been following the developments of the powers-that-be
will recognize that this is the presage of the final push - the ultimate
monitoring of all people.
I'm not running into conspiracy theories here, merely acknowledging that
the US government has now admitted openly its plan to implant chips
worldwide as soon as possible. I repeat my concern that we, as ordinary
citizens, CANNOT be sure what such chips will contain, and that we should
stand up against this violation of our rights to exist as free-thinking
individuals within a tolerant society.
During the same interview, it was announced that there will be three
major scanning devices to "read" the chips. The first will be long range,
used at airports. The second will be medium range to be used in large
rooms. The third will be a device issued to law enforcement agents who
will have a hand held scanner that can read the chip at a range of five
meters, without anyone knowing that this is happening.
The argument for this is that it will minimize illegal entry into
countries, and maximize apprehension of suspected criminals. But the same
arguments have applied to restrictive laws introduced worldwide to
address the drugs trade and now the "war on terrorism". And the same
results will apply. Namely, the drug trade continues unabated, as will
terrorist activity. It is the ordinary people who will suffer, not the
criminal minority.
More bogus arguments will be thrown in. "If we all have chips implanted,
then it will make kidnap far harder." "Children will be safer from attack",
and "old people will know who is coming to their door" are just some I
have heard so far. And there will be plenty more. All bogus, all endowed
with enough grains of truth to make them appear plausible.
The essential arguments for and against might be taken right back to
times of tribal difference, and wars over pieces of land, when people
marked themselves so that they stood out as members of a particular group.
Now, in a multicultural world, we no longer have need of such
differentiation. Integration and involvement are the keys, not isolation.
Yet, we have a right to choose with whom we integrate. And we have a
right to be free and to be individual within the society in which we live.
What this new technology will do is remove our ability to choose to be
independent. It will force us to be recognizable, tagged and monitored.
For that reason alone, it is indefensible and, as I have done before, I
urge all of you who value your freedom to make a stand against this
before it is too late.
Never forget that, once a freedom is removed, it is hard, if not
impossible, to reinstate it. In this particular case, the abuse of our
right to live independently may even result in an inability to think for
ourselves (although some might argue that this has effectively gone
already!).
So how do we avoid this? Say no to it. Say no to injections. Say no to
junk food. Say no to garbage on the television. Say yes to living a life
instead of living a lie.
And, importantly, tell your friends, family and children what is
happening.
Bear in mind that each of us has the power to change the course of human
history.
Right now, it is not too late. |
